Re: Labor Day Weekend just isn't the same

I know there were only three channels at the time , and wasn't usually much else on

but it wouldn't have mattered

Always liked it they would cut to the local stations like every hour or so, and they would show like the local fire departments , or local kids who were having carnivals to help raise money

Also liked to watch the scroll at the bottom of the screen with the names of people who had donated , and see if we could recognize any of the names now days we have 812 channels , and none of them can spare a few hours for a good cause
