statement here is it in a nutshell:
"You got used to being there in person for years, so all you hear on TV is blah blah blah garbage from guys who never shut up.."
When I read that I laughed and compared it to why I don't as an example go to the movies anymore and haven't for more than 20 years. I can't stand to pay good money to see a movie in a theater with the big screen, awesome loud audio and then have it all ruined by some dorkwad sitting behind me shootin off his big fat mouth ruining it for me and everyone around us.
I'm of the upbringing and era when folks were taught to respect others space when out in public, something that IMO has all but left our society unfortunately.
I'm just not the type to not turn around and say something to the fool ( like I did and would do years ago ) so I'm better off just not dealing with a rude and mindless segment of bazzaro world which only leads to trouble for me LOL
The last game I saw was in Phoenix a few years ago and it brought back just how nice it is to watch a RAMS game without all the jabber of tv announcers. Hearing the fans, the once in a while PA guy and most of all the really cool field sounds.
Unfortunately all of the benefits of being there which is mostly not having to put up with announcers being also takes away the other part I really love and that is being comfortable in my own home and not having to walk all that distance to get to my seat along and not being able to rewind what I've seen to examine replays.
I wish I was more like you and could block it out but I know at this point in time I can't and wont be able to do so so, I guess I'll just have to be content to call them what I call them, use very bad names and expletives to calm my uncontrollable dislike for them hoping the war dept. I watch the games with just doesn't get up and leave the room
Enjoy the game Monday night and lets just hope our HORNS empty the Whiners media gold pan they've enjoyed for way to long.
