..and I'm guessing you and I spent the last quarter century or so watching football from completely different perspectives.. Like I said, I rarely get to go to games, so I feel a little lost without all the info provided by the talking heads on TV - even tho half of it I don't listen to cuz its garbage - I just block it out.... 
You got used to being there in person for years, so all you hear on TV is blah blah blah garbage from guys who never shut up..
..Which is what it really is.. I'm guessing the networks don't want ANY dead audio space, so they make the announcers yak constantly and to yak constantly requires yakking about a lot of crap nobody cares about..
Hopefully there's a happy medium in there somewhere.. As Ram fans we at LEAST deserve a LITTLE happiness..
