Sea sickness is just a horrible thing to go through.. I've been extremely sea sick before on dives, where all you wanna do is get outta the boat and get in the water and go as deep from the waves as you can... Only to be caught underwater in what we call "surge"... Surge is where you're at point A and underwater current briskly takes you 10-15 feet to the right or left and then 30 feet the other way and back and forth the entire dive.. Surge can cause me to get sick faster than anything else on Earth..
So, in Bora Bora we were in HEAVY surge and I'm probably as green as my stage hair used to be, and I'm trying desperately to follow a large Lemon shark - well, for the moment, anyways.. I eventually gave up because I was so sea sick.. Anyways, I had wondered to myself if there was anyway to fight the surge, but then noticed the 10 ft shark in front of me was getting thrown around as much as I was.. So, no.. not gonna be able to fight that one... So, I gave up because I was sick as a dog and the stupid shark wasn't... Talk about NOT being fair...
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
