I'm happy my grandkids are involved, heavily involved, in many activities that require 'time'. But even so they all spend far too much time, IMHO, on video games.. which, IMHO, isn't all their fault.
Parents 'game' as much as kids.
And for an adult, with far less energy, 'gaming' is a lot easier. All my grandkids will gladly 'go outside' if an adult offers to go with them outside and play catch, or climb a tree, or go fishing, or whatever... and 'most' of the time will choose doing just that over playing a game... but the 'offers' to do that from Adults aren't nearly as frequent these days, seems to me, as it was 'back when'. - JamesJM
