When my son was about 13 or 14 he went to a gig with me.... Trailer Park, like a KOA, with a community hall on site. When there my son met a young girl his age and they hit it off. Spent the entire evening together.. sitting, walking, talking.
Charlie noticed. Charlie couldn't concentrate on music that night, he was too busy watching Erik, my son, AND... cheering him on.
From the back, as the drummer, I can't see the audience as well as the guys in the front so Charlie kept giving me updates... never forget it. "He's going to kiss her.. watch, watch, watch, GO ERIK" Charlie would shout.
Charlie wouldn't let up.... teasing my son for years to come after that night. Every time they'd meet it was, "Erik, you can tell me, get to 2nd base that night? Don't lie to me".
