Most of what I remember

Growing up in the 70's and early 80's

A lot of the Olympic coverage was about the Russian's and East German's

There was always that Good vs Evil vibe

Us vs Them

The media did a pretty good job of showing American athletes as young and carefree while showing Soviet Athletes as much older , cold and emotionless
