I'm not saying you aren't being perfectly descriptive in describing Bud for yourself... but me, on the other hand, well I tend to use a little hyperbole in my 'reviews'.
Bud is not my beer of choice, and on my 'like' scale it's way down the list.... but it's not disgusting to me. If I'm thirsty, and in the mood for a beer, and someone hands me a Bud, as long as it's icy cold, I'm going to drink it AND enjoy it. It's not disgusting to me even though I would never 'order' a Bud unless it was the only beer the establishment had.

If I was in St. Louis I'd have a Bud because, well, because I'm in St. Louis.
Thanks James, I'm not one to turn down a cold one myself
but it does have to be cold.
At least AB products are (should be) fresh in St. Louis, they've changed their philosophy somewhat, used to make a big deal out of the "born on date" put down other products because they have a "die on date" Now they have the same thing, I guess people were making noise about old beer. Supposedly beer has a 90 day shelf life.
P.S. My board name came out of Cardinals Broadcaster Mike Shannon, he did "on air" promos and referred to a "Cold Frosty Budweiser" He always consumed a goodly amount of AB products during his broadcasts'. Sometimes double headers were a little rough, you knew somebody else was gonna be doing the driving after it was over.
