with other type of movies.. Secret life of Pets was crowded and people didn't act like idiots, for example.. Same with Independence Day.. But, in neither of those movies did anyone scream after being startled.. My guess is that after people scream publicly, they feel entitled to talk through the rest of the movie - and I'm talking about almost everyone in the theater.. People discussing what could possibly happen next during tense scenes and/or yelling "watch out!" when somebody is about to get nailed.. The worst are the idiots yelling something they think is funny, trying to make everyone in theater laugh..
Seriously... there have been few occasions where I wanted to kick someone in the nads more than that.. For crying out loud, we just spent $20 to get in and $45, for popcorn and two Cokes, to hear various trailer parks' opinions on what could happen next..
