but you bet, I can see how you were confused.
My granddaughter, 6 grandson's and 1 granddaughter, is a very good athlete. Very strong. Stronger than most the boys in her class if not all of them. She hates sports.
She did, however, play basketball this year... and did very well. But that was it... her one foray into 'sport'.
She is a 'girly' girl. She takes dancing.. it's her passion. Costumes, makeup, dance, 'pretend'... and has no interest in sports whatsoever. She attends all my grandsons' games but for social reasons... meeting with her friends - none of them could tell you what 'sport' is being played. She is a cheerleader, because she can dance... I doubt if she's ever seen a football play, however.
"The thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat" has no effect on her at all... at least none discernible.
Sports, for my granddaughter, provide a place to socialize, nothing more. - JamesJM
