Minor League Baseball-back when

I remember the Los Angeles Angels playing in Wrigley field in south central L.A. I used to ride my bike to the games. Note Chuck Conners of "The Rifleman" tv series played 1st base for the Angels. At the time the Angels were an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs -hence the stadium's name Wrigley Field. Indeed the old stadium near where I lived was an identical replica of the Wrigley Field in Chicag-with ivy on the outfield walls, etc. But it was much smaller than the major league stadium. Another note the Cubs played their spring training games on Avalon, Catalina Island and the Wrigley mansion still overlooks the little city.
