I am VERY proud and excited but now that it is close to reality, I am surprised at how down it sorta makes me. I hate losing my #1 football fan. Never totally understood the "empty nest" thing till now. Oh, it could be a few months before he actually ships to Boot Camp but just the thought is exciting and a bummer at the same time. It's all me feeling sorry for myself because I DO know he is making a GREAT move that will make him a better man and get his young adult life on a very good path. He is striving to be an Electrician.
