And I'm not even a big fan of chocolate chip cookies. BUT... it was a fundraiser for the High School Football team... never the less.. brownies were available, some toffee, but my daughter signed my name for the chocolate chip cookies. I sulked a little... then pouted... then won the cookies with the high bid.
Watching others eat my cookies I noticed that they were smiling, and had this look of bliss on their faces..... I grew curious, and tried one. OH MY GOD.... obviously an angel from heaven had delivered some chocolate chip cookies to the QB Club fundraiser... the cookies were... how can I describe them? Heavenly. Just incredible. And so...
I had to find out who baked them, which I did.. then I fell at her feet and worshipped her.
Next year others may place a bid on those chocolate chip cookies but they'll do so to no avail... because whatever they bid I'm going to double it. - JamesJM
