Snow... I certainly can't match Iowa but....

This is on my ranch near Coalinga Ca. It's common to get some very light snow at the top of my ranch every year.. nothing that sticks very long, however. This is at our well, however, and much lower than the top of my ranch... and it RARELY snows down here.

This was a month ago... as you can read on the photo, (taken with a Trail Cam).



This snow actually lasted for over two weeks.... and I don't think that has ever happened before, or certainly not since we've owned the ranch... about 1982.

Related to an earlier thread - Mountain Lions. We haven't been hit yet, as far as we know... but our neighbor ranchers are reporting calf losses to Lions is the worst in living memory.
