Neighbor who has been here in my hometown nearly as long as I have is well known for pilfering anything you happen to leave out in your yard. Never breaks into your house... but will quickly snatch up anything he feels you meant to get rid of anyway... like a chain saw you left out in front of your garage for more than hour.
His shack in back of his house is decorated with old farming implements taken from my equipment yard, and every other equipment yard in a 10 miles radius of our hometown.
He never had a job in his life.. that I can recall anyway. Never bought a beer. Used lantern's instead of PGE. Next to a big canal he had no need of air-conditioning during our hot summers.
He died, a few days ago. I donated to his wife for his funeral. I'm going to miss that guy. - JamesJM
