Today's Apple Event...

You know.. .the much ballyhooed yearly extravaganza. (if nobody gives me credit for using the word ballyhooed I'm going to be very upset).

For the first time in years... I didn't watch, or listen, because I didn't give a flying rat's patootie. In year's past there was always some feature I hoped they'd introduce... or device.... some years I got my wish, most I didn't. This year there wasn't anything I was wishing for.

Android has a LOT of features Apple does not, at this time... I couldn't care less about any of them.

There are a lot of things I wish Apple would bring back.. features in their software... ain't going to happen, not ever.

Used to be Apple gave away a free song during the extravaganza... they don't even do that anymore.

So today, instead of a new gadget, I bought an auger. You know, to dig holes. Not sure what I'm going to use it for but I always wanted one and now I do. - JamesJM
