Californi overlaid on the east coast...

November 04, 2017 06:48AM
over the years I, and I'm sure other Californians, have had a bit of a problem explaining distances here. This map puts it into perspective.

Mostly what I get when I tell people I'm from Calif. is the following question: "SF or LA?". My answer of 'neither' doesn't seem to compute. I'll bet it's a lot like New Yorkers who don't live in the city of NY.

In Vermont, and New Hampshire... my guess is that it works in the opposite... if you live in either of those two states you MUST live at a country B&B. laughing smiley

So anyway - this is why California's don't just jump in a car to visit people coming in to Ca.... it can be a VERY long drive. - JamesJM
