So, an interstellar comet passed by....

Perhaps an interstellar comet, I should say.

Came in nearly straight down... not in the elliptical plan the planets and all other comets follow. Best guess is that it came from the Vega star system... 25 mil. Light years away... and took 1.7 million years to get here. To put that into perspective... Waterfield and I were still peeing in the prone position when it began it's journey.

1.7 million years, in empty space... that's one boring trip, no? Then it arrives, zips around the Sun moving 25km per second and heads back home. Think of the Griswold's stop at the Grand Canyon.
