Best live comedian you have ever seen.

For me it's a guy nobody here will have heard of called Frank Skinner. I was hurting I was laughing so much. I even tried to get back to the UK recently to see him live again.

Eddie Izzard wasn't far behind although I think he has lost some of his edge.

Since I moved to the US, Iv've seen both Jim Jeffries and Doug Stanhope 4 times and both nailed it with entirely new material every single time. Both are great story tellers as opposed to gag tellers or observational comedians.

We saw Demitiri Martin last week. He was good but also he was the only comedian I have seen other than Jim Gaffigan who used old material, and that took the edge off for me.

Mitch Fatel was brilliant as was Lachlan Patterson the guy who finished runner up on Last Comic Standing. We also saw the guy who beat him a few weeks later, Rodman, but he wasn't as good

Back in the UK Billy Connolly was good, but at 2 and a half hours his set was too long and Steve Coogan simply outstanding.

We are off to see Chris Rock in a couple of weeks and Bill Maher in July.

I just love live comedy.

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
