I agree. Havenstein was bad from the get go last year. No question. And I had assumed months ago they were likely moving on from him given that and that Evans showed up reasonably well the 2nd half of the year. But have to assume that them keeping him is a sign they believe he was either playing hurt and/or something else was a factor they feel can be corrected.
You're right. No sure things across the board. Of all of them I actually have the most confidence in Blythe- not as a dominant center but that center is his more natural position and that he definitely played pretty well there and settled down the OL as a whole when he moved over. I have confidence Evans and Edwards will take steps forward in year 2. The question is how much.
But I think overall 1 through 9 on the OL they enter 2020 in a better place than 2019. Now, for example, PFF had them as the 31st ranked OL in 2019 so is that saying a lot? We'll see.
