I think this move was brilliant, on the part of the Raiders. No... I didn't like it... lose the OAKLAND RAIDERS? Sacrilege. But ya have to go with the flow. I think this was the one of the smartest business decisions of all time.

PLUS.... I've driven by the 'new' stadium several times now and love em' or hate em' that's one BEAUTIFUL stadium. And before you get all bent out of shape I am NOT comparing it to the Ram's stadium.. which I have NOT driven by and have no idea what it will look like when completed. Being a RAM fan I'm expecting GORGEOUS but we'll see... what I KNOW is the Raider Stadium in Vegas is a sight to behold, AT LEAST on the outside.

Boring anecdote: Coming home from Colorado and headed into Vegas we had a catastrophic tire failure.... on a SUNDAY...on a Sunday NIGHT. We found one repair place open... NOT in the upscale area of Vegas. Waiting for the repair i sat with the owner who was sitting outside the shop on a lawn chair with some of his friends drinking Bud Light. My kind of people... so I joined them. The excitement of the Raiders coming to town was electric. And according to them they could vouch for every person in Vegas in that the Raiders were more anticipated than a Siegfried and Roy replacement.

I think the move for the Raiders is not only going to 'work'... I think they took the biggest leap forward ever made in the history of the NFL. Interesting that if I'm right, and I am, the move accompanied the WORST move ever made in the history of the NFL... the Chargers. - JamesJM
