I wonder if it was a case of someone taking something from them and then their taking it back. I was on a jury once where a guy had had jewelry stolen from him, so he broke into the thief's home, pistol-whipped him and then robbed him and his girlfriend at gun point.
Very odd.
Didn't OJ Simpson do something like that (maybe not the pistol-whipping part) over what he said was stolen memorabilia?
