1. This hasn't been a stellar off season for the Rams. Weird PR 'strategies' ... a terrible logo for one of the NFL's iconic franchises. It's embarrassingly bad and I know my household won't be buying any new merchandise with the junior high school logo on it. The Ram's head is okay.....but it's far from iconic. The Chargers kicked the Ram's @$$ in branding.
Yesterday's social media video that they made with Bleacher Report. What in the world? Just a giant 'cringe' Honestly, WHO is in charge of Marketing/Branding over there?
A continued delay in the uniform reveal. Weird. Did they mess that up too and they're now working to redo them? It's really dumb and I think whoever they're working with (NIKE?) is influencing this 'strategy'....
I'm not sure what is behind not paying players, but it's a bad look....especially when it's pocket change for Kroenke.
Demoff has been tongue and cheek about everything.....but not sure it has sat well with fans.
2. Gurley needs better advice from his agent, etc. Just don't talk about it. Yes, the Rams should pay him immediately, but coming out like he has.....all over social media and now blackballing his teammates. What did they do? This is strictly MY OPINION: I don't think Todd loves football...ever? anymore? Not sure...but he spends most of his time posting fashion, travel and hanging out with rappers. I'm guessing a running back with a gimpy knee and a bit of a surly attitude wore down the locker room and coaching staff. These article scream to me: let's get him out of here before it gets worse. Todd most definitely deserves his money....but his disdain for the team (and now ignoring teammates) shows an underlying problem. This team took him high in the draft coming off a major knee injury. McVay helped him showcase his talents. It's disappointing to see him go public with this stuff.
