True but they could not have done BOTH without the new CBA. I doubt they could have done Gurley at all. Cooks they obviously could have done because something like a Goff re-structure can cover that. Nothing could have covered doing both without the June 1 option for Gurley.
Agreed. I was just providing support for Florida_Ram on his assertion that many times fans don't know. Most people, me included, speculated that the Rams wouldn't be able to get rid of either this year. Said fans were probably right on Gurley but definitely wrong on Cooks.
