Snead now has a bit more flexibility in his draft strategy, not the least of which is that a DL pick is now available to be used at another need position. Huge in a draft with already limited Ram picks.
But the biggest benefit might be that AD’s production might now be turbocharged. A scary thought for opponents, indeed! Remember how many of us have been complaining about the constant double and sometimes triple teaming of AD and why can’t they bring in some other threats to help him?
Well, now opposing O’s must simultaneously deal with AD, Robinson, and Brockers. Dang! And all are very versatile so they can constantly mix and match to exploit weaknesses on opposing OL players. Can you imagine how all that can enhance Staley’s unpredictability on D looks?
