I suspect that some are overthinking the losses of Brockers/Fowler/Littleton.
Meaning that the Rams never really wanted to keep Littleton at anywhere near that price because he was weak in run D which is a Staley high priority.
I don’t think Fowler was a Ram ‘must have’, either. I think that they (like me) thought that Fowler greatly benefited from playing with AD and that another less expensive player could be added to similarly benefit from AD’s presence. Enter Floyd.
Brockers was considered a cap casualty, pure and simple. Only because of far more favorable contract terms could he be brought back.
So yeah, ‘none of the above’ would have probably been the best answer. Lol.
