Drafting an RB early would mean that Henderson was a bad pick last year.
Last year before the draft I think they already knew Gurley was limited and drafted Henderson with the idea that he could start some day.

Yeah, I think RB is a high priority, RFT.

Henderson has potential but he certainly didn’t blow the doors off last year, did he? Then there are now questions about his durability. No way can the Rams put all their eggs in the Henderson basket until he proves otherwise. Brown had an undistinguished season, as well, plus he seems to be injured all too often just when he’s needed most.

RB’s just don’t have the long shelf life of other positions so it seems prudent to restock frequently. I think RB is a screaming need, but I don’t think one has to be the pick at 52 or 84, necessarily. Probably by the 4th round, though.
