Happy, but confused. Lol.
I don’t understand how the Rams can miraculously now afford Brockers. Something’s fishy. Most of us had mentally written Brockers down as a certain cap casualty months ago and now this.
If they were willing to restructure, why didn’t they do so before undergoing the Ravens drama? Or did they just have a change of heart when Brockers once again became available and decided to ‘move mountains’ to get a player that was suddenly a ‘must have’?
And did the Ravens have concerns about Brockers’ health? Gulp.
How will this affect Robinson’s role?
How will Staley scheme (and rotate) his ‘new’ DL?
Anybody else feel that Brockers was not used in such a way as to maximize his potential last year? Can Staley do so?
On paper, this is now a very good DL and we already believe our secondary is elite. So, if they can bolster their LB corps, both inside and outside, our D could be SB worthy. BTW, ‘finishing’ our LB corps is a very doable thing in one offseason via the draft and modest FA moves, don’t you think? Leonard Floyd might be a good start although I suspect that he will be moved around in different sets by Staley, but I digress.
Will there be another move with miraculously newfound money before all the dust is settled? After this Brockers move I wouldn’t completely rule anything out.
Like I said, color me confused but happy with lots of questions. Lol.
