True. But he Patriots changed theirs. And it’s ugly.
A lot of teams got it right on the first try. Raiders, Cowboys, Chiefs, Vikings (as far as I know) Chargers, Browns (okay, that was a joke), Seahawks even, Colts, Saints.
But some have changed and have eventually got it right: Buccaneers, Redskins, Broncos (I think they had an early change-might be wrong), Ravens (if you grant they changed from the Browns).
The distinction is between what goes on the helmet and what goes on the ball cap. The team that comes up with one and the same, a la the Cowboys, has the easiest job.
But the Vikings’ horn—looks great on a helmet (and thanks for copycating the Rams BTW) but doesn’t work as an emblem on a ball cap (do you put the left horn or right one on the front of the cap?
So, you come up with the blond, mustachioed Norseman to put on the cap.
We’re kind of like the Viking. Greatest helmet emblem ever, by far. It doesn’t work on a ball cap for the Vikings’ reasons above.
