I'm all for adding more to the defensive line but I don't think Gaines and SJD are non-factors by any means. At 312 Gaines isn't small and if he puts in good work this offseason he should be more like 320 and have some real NFL strength to him. SJD to me was one of their pleasant surprises of 2019. After last April's Draft I had him as 50/50 at best to even make the 53. Both nice rotational players to have.
