Sure, they might. But personally I would bet against it since they've shown they don't operate that way.

What happens if the Rams do what you suggest is they push some of Ramsey's 2020 cap hit into one or more years in the future. Essentially that back-loads his deal. The Rams under this regime simply does not back load deals. I can't imagine they'd start being penny wise and pound foolish at this point.
