I do think Edwards adds some much needed athleticism to the line but we need to see more to truly know what he is
Blythe and Allen ... I have no idea. Blythe appears to be better center than guard where he started but does that make him good? Allen was a mess and is an example of a player they drafted and planned on contributing right away but it didn’t work out. Is it over for him (shrug) not likely it was only his first year
Noteboom just very disappointing.... what do we have in him? Well there is a ton of uncertainty. Again a player they were banking on but who played very poorly after showing ok in spot duty in 2018
I have little doubt that McVay is going to really focus on this part of the team but they really need at least 2 to 3 of the players above to workout and be good (not great) starters.
Just keep in mind Noteboom was going to take over for Whit but now the Rams are planning to try to resign Whit. That’s not a good thing IMO
A good fa signing at guard could help in addition to the maturation of the players mentioned above BUT all of it is just so uncertain right now
