As an asst getting moved around a bit isn't a bad thing. Key is they both still have a paycheck.

This is one thing I love about McVay though... He doesn't eff around with his staff...

Defensively he wanted more versatility and a specific schematic approach (Fangio) and went out and got a guy who can teach it to him.

Offensively he replaced Waldron in both areas he was deficient, as pass game coordinator and QB coach. O'Connell will take on both those duties.
