So many things effect a season - injuries, luck, bounce of the ball, timing of schedule and on the other side - all of those factors are at work on the teams you're playing. To pretend to know what's going to happen is just fooling yourself. Every year the 'experts' predict the playoff field and division champs and every year they get things wrong.

A lot of it is 'well this, this and this...equals this, this and this' - you talk yourself into believing what you think you know.
