"Re-structure" does not mean "pay cut."

And the number of players who have ever actually taken a pay cut? It's a very short list.

"Pay cut" talk is mostly just fan fantasy. If I had a nickel for every post demanding a player give back money and it DIDN'T happen, I would have so many nickels you would start asking me to take a pay cut.

And btw we don't know what the meeting was about. The most likely thing IMO is that they were connecting with him about their new RB coach, who is a guy he knows.
