Biadasz won the Rimington Trophy as a junior last season, he beat out Hennessy and Humphrey as the finalists, and he also beat players like McCoy (Saints 2nd round center) Bradbury (Vikes 1st round center) Ruiz (borderline 1st to 2nd round this year) and Cushenberry. Biadasz surrendered 1 sack in 390 pass blocking snaps (again, as a junior) He had offseason hip surgery and admittedly did not look as good from a season ago. I think that may be a carryover from that surgery. For a comparison, here is what Cush did this year:
Cushenberry: 15 games, 1,039 offensive snaps; 4 sacks, 5 hits, 25 hurries surrendered
So, any tape looked at from Biadasz this year needs to be watched with the knowledge that he may have not been full speed.
FYI, Ruiz was the best pass blocking OC in college football giving up only 8 pressures in 447 passing snaps...kids legit.
Anyhow, not trying to change your mind or opinion, just throwing out some food for thought. I thought Biadasz had a rough Rose Bowl TBH. So I totally see where you are coming from.
McGovern is a FA I could get behind and they have a DC that saw him everyday practicing against his defense in Denver. That would be a sneaky good get IMO.
