That was a team with a horrendous OL in 2018 and Cousins play suffered, generating strong criticism. In 2019 they add one mid-tier FA at guard and draft a center high, combined with developing a couple younger guys they already had, and suddenly they have one of the better OL and offenses in the league.
I think the Rams can do similar. I would bet an interior OL free agent shakes loose and is released and they can add him at a modest contract. In the Draft they have the flexibility of drafting pretty much the best available OL at 52 any of the 5 positions and could make it work well. As Alyo said this is one of the deepest OT drafts ever so it is not unreasonable to think one could slip to them in the 2nd round. Plus I did believe we will see Noteboom back and healthy in OTAs in late May. AND the Rams have Evans who could be tried on the left side.
Lots of moving parts. But in general I think adding a mid tier FA and drafting an OL in the 2nd round can make a big difference- without needing to keep AW. And it could allow them to have Corbett and Allen as their top backups giving them decent depth.
Just my opinion...
