I would look to the whiners for an example of the value of running backs. Do you think Mostert was the key to that running game yesterday? Or the Chiefs with Kareem Hunt to Damien Williams. On the flip side, you have the Leveon Bell's and James Connors. The offense makes the back not the other way around. The hole Henry has to run through would make alot of backs alot of money.
Wrs I think the opposite is the case--top tier WRs are very valuable. Qbs need to get rid of the ball in under three seconds on average and wrs that are able to separate quickly, especially vs man coverage, are supremely valuable to the success of an offense.
Also, a running back is often less productive in thier second contract. Its a short lifespan postiion with immediate returns frequently. Draft 3/5 th round rbs and then let them go. Wrs deserve the premium picks and money.
