Are you guys surprised the Rams haven't officially announced the hires? Seems a little odd.
My bet is that they want to fill the special teams coordinator and RB coach positions before they announce any hire.
I seriously doubt people like Hammond would talk at length in articles about what hiring O'Connell and Staley means to the team if there were ANY chance the hires were not for certain.
The issue is just the announcement, apparently, and if my bet is right, they want to announce all the new hires at the same time.
