Do you dislike him as a Rams coach?
Well, my biggest fear has been subsided as I felt that McVay was too close to Barry and he would become the next Larry Marmie. Barry failed miserably as defensive coordinator not once, but twice with the Lions & Redskins. Not crazy with him being a position coach and I find it hard to understand how you can pass up an opportunity to be DC at your Alma mater, however, Barry took the security knowing that this will be Clay Helton's last year with the Trojans and he'd be looking for work again next year.
Overall, Barry brings positive energy and some of the linebackers have been good, but I guess I will always fear that someday as long as he's a position coach with the Rams, there is possibility of him being DC and I never want that to happen IMHO.
