I think our line is a mess and will be difficult to improve without a #1 draft pick. Im not trying to be a hater, but none of the guys you listed are even average players. Whitworth, Havenstein, Blythe, Corbett, Evans and whoever else are all JAGS. I know everyone loves Taylor Rapp, but there were plenty of Safeties available in 2nd rd last year that were drafted in that area or later like Chancey Gardner, Thornhill, etc....Rams could have just stayed put and drafted Risner, McCoy, C Ford, J Taylor, etc... and likely still got Rapp or a quality Safety in the 2nd. Yeah, Snead managed to add a mid rd pick but not sure a guy like Henderson was worth the sacrifice we made to get him. Sometimes the best answer is to stay put and take the best guy that falls to you...but thats not Snead's mojo is it?
What was your feeling on how the OL performed in the 2nd half once Edwards and Evans stepped in? IMO, it was decent then. Not a top performing OL by any measure but a decent one.
I agree that it wouldn't be good to return the Whit/Hav/Blythe/Edwards/Corbett/Evans group without having a substantial upgrade somewhere but it doesn't have to be a #1 draft pick. It could be a free agent which would probably provide better immediate returns.
