If you read my initial post, I NEVER stated Kupp, JJ and Higgle were not studs. I was only disputing the idea that the Rams were superior to other teams at finding mid rd gems. I even wrote the following, "So in the past 5 years these mid rd gems are Kupp, Higbee, JJ." Im not saying Kupp is not a stud. He is very good, but all of the other teams draft comparable players. See Tye Hill, Alvin Kamara, Gallup, Dak, Hunt, Hunter, DK, Kittle, and on and on.....I would not say JJ and Higbee are studs though. They are ok to good players. But again, all teams find guys like that in mid rounds. Rams are nothing special at finding mid rd gems like you claim. You all demanded examples and I listed a bunch that back up my case but you still claim I'm biased? Don't ask me to prove if you're gonna ignore the data.
Actually you're not close to proving your point.
No one has disputed that other teams find mid round gems so a few examples doesn't establish much. To prove your point that the Rams are not better than the average team in finding mid round gems, you would need to show 1) how many mid round gems has the average team drafted in the last 5 years, and 2) contrast that to how many the Rams have drafted.
After gathering that data and weighing it against number of picks each team had, we'll all know that if the Rams have a higher rate of drafting mid round gems than the average team then they are superior and if they have less, then they are inferior as you assert.
Your overall point seems to be that not only are the Rams not superior in their drafting prowess but are in fact inferior to other teams and Snead needs to be fired.
Yet, Albany has posted research throughout this thread from at least four separate sources showing that the Rams are ranked 4th, 6th, and 7th in overall drafting ability and have the most all pro selections since 2012. His research suggests that the Rams results have been special.
When you have some data to contradict that, you'll be much further down the road towards proving your point.
