Is this one of those times where you ask for a basis for someone's opinion when you have no more basis for yours than they do? We're just discussing opinions here; there's no evidentiary basis for either. I agree it can go either way. I still believe my version.
Corbett was not Noteboom or Demby awful. Both NB and Demby were rated among the bottom 10 guards in the league. Corbett wasn't.
My opinion is that the whole 'Whitworth was off and out of sync' meme is all greatly exaggerated. It's hyperbole. In fact, a couple of weeks ago when he expressed a desire to continue playing, Whit said that this season was his best with the Rams. I don't believe that either but clearly I'm not the only person who doesn't buy into this 'he was off' story.
I tried to wrap this up above by agreeing that we have differences of opinion here. At this point, we're just going in circles.
"One of those times"? (?) What you describe there has never happened, let alone this time. You have made that accusation before (about me being unfair in arguments that way) and each time I showed you were misreading something. So you were wrong in those prior cases too, just as you are here.
Here;s what I actually said---
Without any real actual evidence it can logically go either way. Notice that that applies to anyone, you or me. And it is not me ASKING for anything. It's me stating that without evidence it's conjecture either way. And then I go on to say that we believe different things.
I am not much of a film watcher, but OL focussed film watchers I know and respect do say AW regressed all on his own. That's not evidence when I say THEY say it, but I offer it as one of the reasons why I personally believe what I believe about this.
