IMO, Bortles was an excellent backup option for Goff, however, I believe he might try to land where he can get a better opportunity. Worked out well with the Rams, who had a bonafide backup to Goff and Bortles got a year to work with McVay, but Bortles does offer the running ability and in a scheme similar to what the Ravens run, might have a better opportunity. I liked Bortles coming out of UCF and felt he had his moments and felt strongly that the Los Angeles Rams had finally found a good backup, but I expect Bortles to move on and I also expect the Rams to take a longer look at Wolford and maybe draft someone late like Tyler Huntley of Utah, to offer that type option moving forward.
