I like the O'Connell hiring, although it could be a short term situation. I don't care if he is calling plays or not (he isn't, I know) I just want someone in the booth eagle eyeing what is going on to give McVay a different perspective of whats going on. And in order for that to work, McVay needs someone he can trust. He obviously trusts O'Connell.
