He's an impressive guy, and I suspect his presence on the field both during practices and on gameday would offer real value on a team w/a number of young, yet unproven OL. With teh Rams parting ways with a number of veterans and team leaders, both coaches and players, I'd like to see them retain Whitworth. Since we're almost surely talking about a 1-year contract, probably his last, I'm also hopeful that he'd be willing to play for less than his market value without feeling *insulted.* But we'll see.

Blythe too. Shoulder surgeries mean both that he could be better in 2020 once fully healthy again, AND that he might be more affordable.
