I kept thinking whenever we got the ball: “Okay, this is it. We’re going to drive down the field and score.” And then three and out.
The worst was when the Vikings scored and kicked it off and it bounced off one of our blockers for a fumble and Viking recovery. The Vikings along with the Redskins had the best special teams back then and that play surely proved it.
