...since, I believe, you've been skeptical of him.
Personally, I've always thought he was a player --just under-utilized. He's a helluva good blocker and team player, IMHO. That re-signing of him, which so many thought a head-scratcher, is gonna start looking like money in the bank.
I think Higbees has had his ups and downs .
Rumor was the Pats wanted him in trade. He was flexed outside alot at W. Kentucky and put up very good #s.
I think he is much more of a threat as a reciever than we've used him yes.
At same time his doing well and our 3 WR proclivity brings more doubt on the Everett selection.
It makes Everett almost a perrenial 6th man or 12 the man in the offence and tough to use to his potential .
Maybe we'd have been better off getting a stud LB or or OL Man back when Everett was taken if he'll be just a situational sub with us.
We we're lucky to get Kupp after Everett that's sure.
Everett is more of a H- back move TE .
He could be a thicker Holohan.
If we get the most out of him it's him Woods , Kupp ,and Higbee and Cooks probably sits.
Then Goff checks who is in solo amoung those or throws to Gurly.
That should work if we swap in Everett .
That's the here and now but man oh man a solid OL or linebacker starting taken instead from Everetts draft spot would make us a notch better , a more whole team.
