They all cheated. They cheated the game for an advantage. They were not 'caught' or admitted to such cheating until later.
Now......if you're somehow relating this to the argument that Billy is the greatest coach of all time, I will say this again: I do not believe he is....I believe he has cheated the game multiple times, .....he has cheated prior to Super Bowls and been the beneficiary of some of the most unbelievably bad coaching from opponents in Super Bowl history: Martz, Quinn, Carroll
I don't believe taping other team's walk throughs, being suspected of wiring locker rooms, falsifying injury reports, etc. should qualify someone as "the greatest of all time".......do you believe Lance Armstrong is the greatest cyclist of all time? Serious question.
Destroying video evidence before anyone can look at it is incredible. It's so over the top, it's shocking. I'm actually surprised that with the billions spent gambling on the NFL, the government didn't get involved in that one.....but then again, they destroyed the evidence. (see Chicago baseball scandal of last century)
The guy is a great football coach. Fantastic student of the game and clearly KNOWS the game....but I don't consider a guy that has done these things the greatest. And clearly, if it is a source of comfort, I'm in the minority.
