All the talk about cross training the OLinemen, one way to defeat the 6-1 is an unbalanced line. Teams don’t use it much because typically they have to flip a tackle to the other side of the line.
That entails a lot of extra time in practice covering alignments, assignments and adjustments.
But with cross training and the shot gun, all this can be avoided. Just have Austin Corbett at LG snap Goff the ball instead of Austin Blythe. Or have David Edwards (an ex-QB.) snap it to Goff from the RG spot to exploit the other side of the field.
That’s going to mess with the D line in a big way.
